Stamina Oatmeal

Oatmeal is a great way to start the day and Ashwagandha is great herb to help strengthen your body. Ashwagandha will help your body rise to the best body it can be, man or woman.

We use steel cut oats because of their GF status and the fact that they have a higher fiber content.

3 cups water 1 cup milk 1 tablespoon unsalted butter or ghee 1 cup steel-cut oats ¼ teaspoon salt

1/2 tsp Rebel Herbs Ashwagandha Holistic powder

In a large saucepan, combine the water and milk. Bring to a simmer over medium heat. While it is heating, melt the butter in a skillet over medium heat. Once melted, add the oats and cook, stirring occasionally, until golden brown, about 2 minutes.

Stir the oats into the milk mixture. Reduce the heat to medium low and simmer for 20 minutes, stirring occasionally, until the mixture is thick.

Stir in the salt and continue to simmer, stirring occasionally and reducing heat, until nearly all of the liquid is absorbed, about 10 minutes.

Remove from heat and stir in the Ashwagandha powder and sugar or salt as preferred. After about 5 minutes it is ready to eat. You can add fresh fruit or cinnamon to change it up as a daily treat.
