Corona Virus Prevention - Thoughts from our ND Student



It is entirely possible to contract the virus and not experience a single symptom for 2-3 weeks. Symptoms are commonly reported to resemble anywhere from a mild cold to a flu. It is possible to be a vector, that is someone that passes the virus on, without feeling any symptoms at the time, or even at all.


Here are some tips on how to protect yourself from COVID19:


Wash your hands frequently and thoroughly with soap and hot water. Make sure to scrub palms and the backs of your hands, under your nails and up to your wrists for at least 60 seconds. When shutting off the sink or opening the door use a paper towel to avoid contact with dirty surfaces.


Avoid touching your face as much as possible. The eyes, mouth, and nose, are all easy entry-ways for any kind of virus or infection. Avoiding touching these areas with potentially dirty hands significantly cuts down risk of contraction.

The two final and most powerful tools are sleep and diet.
