Everyone respects the hustle. All throughout the week, there are a million things to do, places to be, checklists to complete. However, it is important to take some time to spend on yourself! Try and implement a Self Care Sunday into your weekly routine. Create a set amount of time to unwind and take care of the “little” big things that may be brushed aside during the week.

The best makeup is radiant skin. Though often overlooked, it is important to look after your skin’s condition. Preventative care is the easiest way! There are many ways to incorporate skin care into your self care routine, including taking our Complexion+ herbal supplement, which is packed with nourishing organic herbs such as neem, amla, and turmeric.

Neem, also known as Indian lilac, has been used in India Ayurvedic remedies for thousands of years. It is packed full of vitamins, including vitamins C and E. It also contains quercetin, a flavonoid with antioxidant function that helps benefit the skin.

Amla is extremely high in nutrients - in fact, it has 75 times more antioxidant content than goji berries, 200 times more antioxidants than blueberries, and 20 times more vitamin C than an orange. Not only are these properties beneficial for your overall health, but are also very good for your skin’s health and appearance!

Turmeric is a versatile spice that has been traditionally used as for flavor, dyes and herbal tonics. It contains ingredients that are known to boost skin health, such as vitamin C, beta carotene, potassium, iron, calcium, and zinc.

Rubia cordifolia, also known as Indian madder, is a plant in the coffee family that has been used in Asia for thousands of years. Its bright red roots are used in Ayurveda to help facilitate clear, healthy skin.

Black pepper has been used for thousands of years across Asia, Africa and Europe as both seasoning and in traditional medicine. It contains skin - loving properties such as vitamin K, potassium, calcium, iron, zinc and magnesium.

One of the fastest ways to nourish your skin is to whip up and apply a skin mask. By using our Rebel Herbs amla powder, there are endless combinations! Try some of our favorite facial masks below:
