This month, we get to introduce two rebel herbs! The first one we'll discuss is turmeric. Cousin to ginger, turmeric is a bright, golden-orange root that has been used in India for thousands of years, in everything from religious ceremonies to various remedies. It can be taken as a supplement, used as a dye, made into hair and skin masks, and added to smoothies. A bit of turmeric goes a long way, so be sure to use as recommended!
