Happy Women’s History Month from the team at Rebel Herbs! One of the women we admire is Wangari Maathai, an environmental activist who founded the Green Belt Movement, received a Nobel Peace Prize, and was the first woman in east and central Africa to receive a doctorate degree. She is also widely known for planting trees, empowering communities (especially other women) and fighting for better environmental management. We are inspired by her love of the environment and the hundreds of trees that she planted across the land.
